Lawmakers who don’t like the Second Amendment can say some really uniformed things about guns. Over the years there have been a ton of comments –but for our purposes, we will focus on the top 5 comments made by lawmakers currently in office and voting on legislation.

#5. Rep. Carolyn Maloney:  “We need to ban the massacre machine gun magazines.”

Those massacre machine gun magazines. Maloney must believe they are being made available for all those machine guns that have been effectively banned in the United States since 1986.

#4.  Rep. Diana DeGette: “If you ban them in the future, the number of these high capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time, because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be more available.”

Unless, you reload the magazine.

#3. Rep. Louise Slaughter: Constitutional protections only apply to those who own guns.

The stupid. It’s too painful.

#2. Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe: 93 million Americans die from guns each day.

McAuliffe knows a lot about this issue because he’s "long talked about this.” Just not long enough for all 323 million Americans to be killed.

#1. Sen. Dianne Feinstein: There’s gun regulations on duck hunting, but not for the legal hunting of humans.

In case you too are a senator from California, I feel I must make you aware that it is illegal to hunt humans. Please don’t search online for the human hunting license - if you find one on the internet– it’s not real.  Just like the conceptions many lawmakers have on guns and gun accessories they want to ban and regulate.
