In a stunning example of irony and lack of self awareness, MSNBC anchor Brian Williams made the laughably hypocritical claim that West Virginia Democratic Senator Joe Manchin “seems to live in a world of his own making and his own imagination.” This is coming from the guy who has lied numerous times about events that have happened to him that either never happened - or occurred in his absence despite his claim of being there.
In a stunning example of too much self awareness, CNN's chief masturbator ... err, chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin was welcomed back on-air on CNN for an absolutely cringeworthy interview seven months after he was caught masturbating on a Zoom call with fellow journalists.
On Morning Joe Tuesday, frequent guest Mara Gay from the New York Times admitted she was shocked at seeing dozens of “disturbing” American flags over the D-Day anniversary weekend. But what was really disturbing, was Gay likening our country's flag to racist, white nationalism.
Kamala Harris has been roundly roasted for her disastrously bad answer to Lester Holt's question about her plans to visit the border. But the beleaguered VP still has media defenders, among them Mika Brzezinski. On Morning Joe this week, Mika suggested to Richard Haass that Kamala "deserves some credit" for meeting with leaders of Central American countries and "getting in their face." That's almost as good as going to the border, right?
