The youngest son of 2016 Democratic vice presidential candidate Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of second-degree riot at a pro-President Trump event.

The Pioneer Press reports that 24-year-old Linwood Michael (“Woody”) Kaine was one of six people arrested after a group of anti-Trump protesters disrupted a “March 4 Trump” rally in St. Paul, Minn., with air horns, chants, and even a smoke bomb

There were also reports of fireworks set off from inside the Minnesota State Capitol building.

Kaine was released from Ramsey County jail on Tuesday morning. No charges were filed against him, though his case is pending further investigation.

According to WTVR.com, the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office said there were “insufficient facts to prove felony-level riot.”

Sen. Kaine told the Pioneer Press in a statement following his son's release, “We love that our three children have their own views and concerns about current political issues.”

“They fully understand the responsibility to express those concerns peacefully,” he said.
