Word just got out that toiletries manufacturer Dove partnered with a social media “influencer,” as they're calling themselves these days, to promote “fat liberation.” It just so happens that the fat-fluencer is a mega BLM activist and even lied to get a student acquaintance expelled from her university.
Talk about twisted morals!
The fat-fluencer, Zyahana Bryant, was hired by Dove this year to talk about “fat liberation.” On an Instagram post, where she amasses over 27,000 followers, Bryant wrote, “Fat liberation is something we should all be talking about!” She added the hashtag #DovePartner, indicating that her post was a partnership with the company.
In the video, Bryant said the following:
My belief is that we should be centering the voices and experiences of the most marginalized people and communities at all times.
So when I think about what fat liberation looks like to me, I think about centering the voices of those who live in and who maneuver through spaces and institutions in a fat body.
Honestly, Bryant is unhealthy. I don’t know why there are campaigns to embrace an unhealthy way of living and extreme obesity. What happened to the campaigns that promote healthy eating and workout routines? Nonetheless, others gathered around in support of her weight, praising and cheering her "fat liberation."
At the same time, however, others brought up Bryant’s past and claimed it was unfair of Dove to choose Bryant for its fat campaign.
Flashback to 2020, when the heat of Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests ravaged cities. Bryant overheard a white student from the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville, which they both attended, say something about the protests. The white student, Morgan Bettinger, a pro-police girl and daughter of a former police officer, was trying to mind her own business and drive down the street when she stumbled across BLM protestors. Bettinger told a truck driver who was in front of her own car, “It's a good thing that you are here, because otherwise these people would have been speed bumps,” according to Daily Mail.
However, Bryant tweeted that Bettinger instead said that the protestors would “make good speedbumps.” Which, at the time, was “particularly chilling” as Daily Mail called it, since a few years before, a counter protestor at a Unite The Right rally was run over and killed in Charlottesville.

Of course, people ran with Bryant’s false claim, and she started an email campaign to get Bettinger expelled from UVA. Bettinger was “shunned at college, and even stalked around her hometown, making her fear for her safety,” Daily Mail wrote.
Subsequently, Bryant filed a complaint with the school’s Office for Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights and claimed Bettinger said the statement five times and had discriminated against Bryant based on her race. Both of those were lies, according to Bettinger's story, and nobody was able to corroborate the situation to say otherwise.
Presently, Bettinger, whose permanent record reflects her as a violent racist, ruining her chances at attending law school, is considering filing a lawsuit. But at the same time, Bryant has her life set for her online, and Dove is helping.
An obese black woman lied about someone and ruined her life, yet the liar is the one being rewarded. This is just like Dylan Mulvaney, who is lying about his gender and parading around mocking women, yet getting partnership after partnership for it.
It’s become abundantly clear that regardless of what lies you say or believe, if you promote something the left considers good - transgenderism, BLM or “body positivity," or in this case extreme obesity - you should be rewarded and heralded as a hero.
This is all sorts of backwards.
