A third woman has come out accusing President George H.W. Bush of sexual assault, alleging the elderly wheelchair-bound man groped her.

Initially, an actress named Heather Lind accused Bush Sr. of sexual assault during a photo op in 2014. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Lind claimed the former president had grabbed her behind and told a dirty sexual joke, all in front of his wife, Barbara.

In response, a spokesman for the former president explained that Bush, who's been largely confined to a wheelchair from some time, cannot raise his arm above a woman's hips, meaning his hand usually ends up near their rears in photos. To try an alleviate any awkwardness, the spokesperson said, the 93-year-old former president sometimes cracks jokes about "copping a feel."

"President Bush would never - under any circumstance - intentionally cause anyone distress, and he most sincerely apologizes if his attempt at humor offended Ms. Lind," the spokesman said.

Right after that debacle, another accuser stepped forward named Jordana Grolnick, another actress who claimed Bush had also groped her.

“We all circled around him and Barbara for a photo, and I was right next to him,” Grolnick told Deadspin. “He reached his right hand around to my behind, and as we smiled for the photo he asked the group, ‘Do you want to know who my favorite magician is?’ As I felt his hand dig into my flesh, he said, ‘David Cop-a-Feel!’”

Now, a third woman named Christina Baker Kline has come out alleging that Bush Sr. grabbed her in front of her husband while they attended a fundraiser in Houston, Texas.

After the encounter, Kline claims a friend of the Bush family approached her and ask that she be discreet about everything.
