The mother of the 32-year-old woman killed at a white supremacist rally turned violent in Charlottesville, Va., said in a Friday interview with ABC News that President Trump should think before he speaks.

After the President condemned the KKK, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists in a press conference on Monday, Susan Bro issued a statement thanking him.

Now, as Trump deals with the backlash following his controversial, unscripted remarks on Tuesday that there exists blame on "both sides” for what happened in Charlottesville, Bro said that she will not speak with him, even if given the opportunity.

"I have not and now I will not," Bro said, adding that she had received several missed calls from the White House on Wednesday, the day of her daughter's funeral.

"I'm not talking to the president now,” she went on. “I'm sorry, after what he said about my child. It's not that I saw somebody else's tweets about him. I saw an actual clip of him at a press conference equating the protesters, like Ms. Heyer, with the KKK and the white supremacists.”

When asked if there is something that she would want to say to Trump, Bro replied, “Think before you speak.”

On Wednesday, the day of Heyer’s memorial service, Trump tweeted calling her “a truly special young woman.”

He continues to face criticism for his remarks on Tuesday during a press conference where he said that members of both sides -- the white supremacists and counter-protesters -- were violent.
