If you watched the House Judiciary Committee's recent field hearing in Yuma, Arizona, to discuss the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, you didn’t see it on C-SPAN.
In a partisan move by the organization supposedly dedicated to giving “access to the live gavel-to-gavel proceedings” of government, C-SPAN chose not to broadcast the border hearing.
Townhall reports that sources claim C-SPAN Congressional Editor Robb Harleston declined television coverage because they were concerned that Democratic committee members had refused to attend.
Democrats were invited, but discussing the southern border under the Biden administration hasn’t been an issue they care to discuss much.

Of course, C-SPAN had no issues broadcasting a field hearing in 2019 put on by then-House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters (D-CA) in Los Angeles when no Republicans were present.
Harleston did not respond to multiple requests from Townhall for comment.
