“Thou Shalt Not Steal.” The Bible lists this as the Eighth Commandment that God gave to Moses when he set up the major rules for how human beings should live their lives. It's pretty straightforward.

But to be fair, if you’ve never read the Bible, you may not know how important this particular rule is.

Lack of knowledge of this rule could be the defense that two young men will be using in court if the are apprehended and charged with stealing eight expensive Bibles from a Christian bookstore in West Springfield, Mass.

On Tuesday, detectives released surveillance images of two suspects who were caught on video seen stealing eight $60 copies of the Good Book from Morning Star Christian Store.

What the alleged perpetrators were planning to do with the Bibles is unclear. However, the evidence suggests that they weren’t going to be using them as reading material. If that was their goal, then one could reasonably conclude that they will be returning the stolen Bibles after they finish "Exodus."
