Sports Illustrated has gone completely anti-truth and released a new cover which features Leyna Bloom, who is a biological male. Despite what Bloom’s Twitter bio says, he is not helping to make the world or this country a better place.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit posted an announcement for the new swimsuit cover model’s on Twitter. As always the magazine releases three different covers for each edition, but Bloom is the first and only man to ever be promoted as a woman. He is joined by rapper Megan Thee Stallion and Olympic tennis star Naomi Osaka. Across the top of his magazine cover it reads “opening eyes, speaking truths, changing minds.”

Bloom announced his cover on Instagram and Twitter:

He also tweeted out “there are 3 black women on 3 seperate covers for Sports Illustrated and I’m one of them WOW!” Except, there are only 2 black women on the covers and Bloom is NOT one of them no matter how much photoshopping and makeup they use. You can’t slap a Ford sticker on a Chevy and call it a Ford, that’s not how it works.

Sports Illustrated also wrote an article on Bloom on June 17, titled “Leyna Bloom Is On A Mission.” Yeah, a mission to distort the truth and deny reality.

Editor-in-chief of the Swimsuit Editor, MJ Day, had this to say of Bloom’s cover:

Leyna is legendary in the world of activism, strikingly gorgeous, and has an undeniable sense of self that shines through the minute she walks on set. Her story represents one grounded in resilience, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to help her tell it. Her presence as the first trans woman of color to be in our issue is a result of her lifetime dedication to forging her own path.

During an interview with Elle Magazine Bloom stated that “being a woman, being a woman of color and also being a trans-woman walking in society with my chin up is a form of activism. I don’t need to be put on a billboard. Me living my truth and owning it is a form of activism.”

He claims to not need praise and promotion but then states that “we (women) run this world, and we need to be in a position so people can see that.”

Apparently it’s okay if a man claims to run the world as long as he’s pretending to be a woman. Where is the feminist outrage?

Bloom further stated that “This is a huge milestone. When I was crying in MJ and Tyra [Banks’] arms, I was like, ‘This magazine is going to change the world.’”

Maybe, but it definitely isn’t for the better.
