Morris Brown College in Atlanta posted on Instagram that it was issuing a masking mandate this week.
The move comes after reports of an increase in positive cases of COVID-19 among students in the area.
11Alive reports the masking and "physical distancing" requirements will only be in place for the next 14 days.
Large parties and student events are not allowed. Students and staff are also required to undergo "temperature checks" upon arriving to campus.
NewsNation is reporting that more than 100 schools still require students to be vaccinated in order to attend classes in person. A smaller number of schools including Rutgers and Georgetown are continuing to require indoor mask wearing.
