Ever-tolerant liberals strike again.
Police are investigating an assault after a teen recorded a man attacking him and taking his MAGA hat.
(UPDATE: 7/5/18 1:56PM) Police officials now say they have a suspect in custody.
The incident allegedly occurred at a Whataburger in San Antonio. It was captured on a cell phone recording.
In the video, you can see a man throw a drink in a 16-year-old’s face after cussing at him. Then the assailant leaves the restaurant with his MAGA hat.
WOAI-TV identified the teen as Hunter Richard. Richard tells the station that some of his hair was pulled during the assault.
"I support my President and if you don’t let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off. I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me," he said.
According to WOAI a police report has been filed.
A social media effort is underway to ID the man accosting the teen.

KSAT is reporting police have 30-year-old Kino Jimenez in custody in connection to the incident. His bond was set at $5,000.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, there was a brief exchange of words between Jimenez and the victim before what's seen on video.
Police say Jimenez initially asked the 16-year-old why he was wearing the hat and the teen responded that he was supporting the president.
The affidavit says what happened next is what was caught on camera.
Officials say Jimenez will be charged with theft of a person, a state felony.
Since the incident, Donald Trump Jr. has offered to get Richard a new MAGA hat signed by President Trump.
