Texas Heartbeat Act Beats Again: The Battle For Life May Go To The Supreme Court

A few days after a lower court blocked enforcement of the Texas Heartbeat Act, a federal appeals court reinstated the pro-life measure on Friday evening.

The move is the latest in an ongoing battle over the measure that bans most abortions after a fetal heartbeat can be detected, about 6 weeks into pregnancy.

The current result seems like a win for pro-lifers, but as several crucial cases make their way to the Supreme Court, what lies ahead?
