Financial censorship made international headlines in early 2022 when peaceful protestors in Canada were locked out of their bank accounts and had their assets frozen, but the problem has been accelerating for the past few years. Financial censorship can happen in a variety of ways, whether that be financial blacklisting from payment processors or being removed by banks via “debanking.”

Conservative Partner Institute Senior Director of Policy and Free Speech America board member Rachel Bovard discusses a variety of topics related to the debanking of the trucker protestors in Canada and what it means for the political-right in the western world.

Bovard also touches upon the unique reason why countries descended from the British empire like America, Australia, and Canada seem to have lurched toward PC totalitarianism amid COVID-19 whereas so-called "socialist" countries in northern Europe appear to have been more open minded.
