Target appears to be following the example of other companies and websites such as Williams Sonoma, the Food Network, and MyRecipes that have banned the term “gingerbread man” and replaced it with “gingerbread people” to satisfy hypersensitive customers crying sexism and the like.

Just in time for the holidays, Target rolled out its “Gender Inclusive Gingerbread” Christmas sweater, online for the price of $29.99.

The sweater is black, red, and green, and has a gingerbread (person?) wearing a Santa hat and holding a candy cane.

If that isn't enough for you, fear not. Target has other “gender inclusive” items for sale this holiday season including a “Gender Inclusive Nutcracker Sweater” in red and a “Gender Inclusive Spinner Spinner Kosher Dinner Sweater” in blue.
