Who would’ve thunk it? It’s not like anybody’s been saying that billionaire Bill Gates directly funded Chinese Communist Party (CCP) projects in the past. Oh, wait. There’s a ton of people who’ve said that? And now there’s “allegedly” proof?
It’s being reported that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation — the same organization that’s one of the top donors to the questionable World Health Organization (WHO), which routinely protected Chinese interests during the pandemic — combined with the Ford Foundation — another left-leaning “philanthropic” organization — to “give over $39 million to China, according to their latest tax forms.
The Washington Examiner reported:
The bulk of the $39 million steered to China came from the Gates Foundation, which Microsoft founder Bill Gates launched in 2000 with his then-wife, Melinda Gates. The foundation sent roughly $30 million to Chinese entities, according to tax forms.
China's National Health Commission, the government's department that crafts policies related to health and medicine, received $2.5 million from the Gates Foundation. The money, like most grants the foundation sent to the commission, was for aiding "global health and development public awareness and analysis."

If you remember, at the beginning of the pandemic, Bill Gates went on CNN to praise the CCP’s response to the virus they released on the world, while scolding the U.S. for their response under former President Donald Trump.
Gates said the following back in April of 2020:
Well, I don't think that's a timely thing, because it doesn't affect how we act today. China did a lot of things right, you know, at the beginning. Like any country where a virus first shows up, you know, they can look back and say where they missed some things. You know, some countries did respond very quickly and get their testing in place, and they avoided the incredible economic pain. And it's sad that even the U.S. - that you would've expected to do this well - did it particularly poorly. But it's not time to talk about that.
So Gates had no problem giving the CCP the benefit of the doubt when it came to their response, but threw the country that gave him everything under the bus.
I’d say it’s both surprising and disappointing, but it’s not and it seems par for the course for the globalist “philanthropist.”
