Sports Are No Longer A Political Escape - Thanks, Colin Kaepernick

1.9k views

Sports used to be an avenue which we could all travel down in order to escape the daily barrage of ignorance, indifference and ineptitude from the media-induced political sphere. But, nowadays we see that the line between sports and politics have become muddied, especially in the last two or three years.

Former NFL quarterback and activist Colin Kaepernick - by taking a knee during the national anthem - changed the landscape of sports...forever! The comparisons of how the media has treated Kaepernick and how they treated a political statement by a hockey player from a few years ago is staggering.

The Left - along with government and the media - ruins everything they get their ideological hands on. This is why we can't have nice things.

Take a look at the video above, and make your own determination on whether sports has forever been ruined by the injection of politics.
