College students who feel like their right to free speech is being silenced on campuses across the country now have an organization who wants to help them reclaim their voices.

MRCTV recently sat down for a one-on-one interview with Nicole Neily, the president of the organization Speech First, who said her organization is fighting to reclaim college students' right to free speech on campuses that would rather shut them up.

"Speech First will protect students’ free speech rights on campus," the organization's mission statement says. "Through advocacy, litigation, and other means, we will put colleges and universities on notice that shutting down unwanted speech will no longer be tolerated."

During the interview, Neily spoke with MRCTV's Nick Kangadis about the problems currently facing college students concerning persecuted free speech and the courses of action students have at their disposal with Speech First.

"The 'marketplace of ideas' is there for a reason," Neily said, ""because great ideas float to the top and bad ideas wither on the vine."
