Lawyer, actor, author, and political commentator Ben Stein summed up his thoughts of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal on Thursday.
“She doesn’t know her ass from her elbow about investments or returns on investments, why do we even listen to her?” Stein said on Cavuto Coast to Coast Thursday.
Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has released her Green New Deal, which calls for lots of expensive things, such as upgrading or replacing all buildings in the United States, and providing funds for those who are simply “unwilling” to work.
“For every one dollar we spend on infrastructure we get a return on that investment, for every dollar we spend on tax cuts we get less than a dollar back. This is about making smart investments and this is about making investments that actually generate returns,” Ocasio-Cortez said while announcing the insanity…er, green plan.
“The Green New Deal is yet another way to control the American people. All these ways of socialist thinking are ways to control the American people and to take away their freedom to choose and their freedom to do what they want to do with their lives,” Stein said.
