The first sign that a scandal is brewing is when you start hearing big shots on Capitol Hill taking the 5th at congressional hearings. The 5th amendment was envoked repeatedly by Solyndra executives when they testified before Congress this afternoon. Here are some of the highlights.
Obviously, there's something about the whole Solyndra situation that's not on the up and up. But is it really neccessary for members of congress to waste time and taxpayer money by repeatedly questioning these jerks when we already know that they're simply going to keep repeating the 5th amendment line like a bunch of mind numbed robots? Apparently, the aswer is "Yes."
