Small Business Owner Gives Would-Be Thief Surprise of His Life

Tim Dionisopoulos | March 1, 2016

This past Monday night, Albert Schialo received a notification that the alarm had gone off at his business, Al's Muffler and Breaks Shop, in Providence, Rhode Island.

When Al and his son Tyler arrived at the shop to find an intruder, they didn't waste any time taking matters into their own hands.

By the time police arrived, the suspect was already handcuffed and his feet zip tied.

According to a Providence Journal report, Al told police that when he arrived, Angelo Lamourt was hiding in the back of the shop. Lamourt tried running, but Al wrestled him down while his son Tyler applied the handcuffs and zip ties.

The Journal added that only a power drill was taken, which was found in Lamourt's backpack and returned to Al. Lamourt was taken by police and is expected to be charged.

We bet the police wished more calls were this easy!
