What started out as riots over a black man who was shot by police over the weekend has now left even more bodies in the streets, as two more people are now dead and one is still wounded following a shooting during the third night of violent protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

While the identities of the three victims haven’t yet been released, video footage from the scene shows multiple people, one of them clearly carrying a firearm, running toward something. Seconds later, a man can be seen on the ground pointing a long gun at several people, though it's not entirely clear what started the altercation in the first place. The man fires and at least one person falls to the ground as the crowd scatters.

CJ Halliburton, who describes himself as an “independent journalist” who was on the scene at the time, said on Facebook that one man was shot in the head and another in the arm, according to NBC News.

The shootings follow several nights of looting, vandalism and arson that's left multiple businesses and cars in ashes. The unrest was sparked by the police shooting of 29-year-old Jacob Blake, a violent felon with an outstanding warrant who was shot seven times in the back by police as he was getting into an SUV. Blake has been hospitalized, and police have yet to comment on what led to the shooting.
