Vice President Kamala Harris isn’t great at answering questions.
Which, granted isn’t anything new – this is the same woman, after all, who said the solution to America’s complicated supply chain problems was to tell shipping companies to work more than 8 hours a day to get boxes off boats because “Americans need their products.”
Now she’s back, this time to explain the Russia-Ukraine crisis, and in possibly the most elementary way possible. When asked to break down the Ukraine war in “layman’s terms for people who don’t understand what’s going on and how can this directly affect the people of the United States,” Harris detailed the situation like this:
“Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine so basically that’s wrong. And it goes against everything that we stand for.”
VP Kamala Harris went on black radio to explain the war:

Because, apparently, “layman’s terms” means “talk to Americans like they’re toddlers who don’t get why they can’t have a cookie.”
And, as usual, Twitter was merciless.
Because that's how someone had to explain it to her

I’m still confused. Can she break it down further?
