Seven Antifa Protesters Were Arrested For Assaulting Portland Police

Good ol’ Antifa. Protesting people and groups they call "fascist" by...well, using fascism.

They’re at it again, and their actions were just as violent and stupid as you’d imagine.

A left-wing group called Portland Stands United Against Hate organized the Rally and March Against White Nationalism, held in downtown Portland on Sunday. At the same time, a right-wing ground called Patriot Prayer had scheduled a rally at a location that ended up being on the leftist group’s march route.

Which, as we've seen, is just bound to go well.

Not content with simply counter-protesting against the right-wing activists, leftist Antifa rioters decided attacking the cops was the way to go.

Fox News reported:

Antifa demonstrators hurled smoke and projectiles at police officers during rallies in downtown Portland on Sunday, injuring at least two, according to police[…]

After police changed the planned route of the march to avoid violence, tensions built up between the demonstrators and an opposing group, Patriot Prayer, also scheduled to hold a rally.

Police said demonstrators threw projectiles and smoke bomb — and knocked down a fence that police had put up. They also said seven suspects were in custody.

According to Fox 12 - Oregon, here are the names of seven people arrested along with the charges being levied against them:

  • Tyler W. Bristow, 27, was arrested near Southwest Park Avenue and Southwest Taylor street on charges of interfering with a police officer and resisting arrest.
  • Chad Skjei, 37, was arrested near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street on charges of interfering with a police officer, disorderly conduct in the second degree, and attempt theft in the second degree.
  • Thomas "Sarah" Wallace, 18, was arrested near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street on charges of assault on a police officer (two counts) and harassment.
  • Deaclan S. Lenartz, 35, was arrested near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street on charges of interfering with a police officer and disorderly conduct in the second degree.
  • Naomi G. Seraphina, 42, was arrested near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street on charges of interfering with a police officer and disorderly conduct in the second degree.
  • Alice E. Hall, 27, was arrested near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street on charges of interfering with a police officer and disorderly conduct in the second degree.
  • Eli F. Richey, 37 was arrested near Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Taylor Street on a charge of interfering with a police officer.

Here's a little snippet of some of the fascists confronting police:

Of course, the media spin is that “right-wing” protesters clashed with Antifa. But while the media was all to happy to label Patriot Prayer activists as "right-wing," there was no mention of Antifa rioters being “left-wing.”

Scott Whitlock of Newsbusters reported:

The journalists at CBS This Morning, Monday, made sure to label a “right-wing” protest, but offered no such characterization for Antifa at a rally in which smoke bombs were thrown at the police. Co-host Gayle King antiseptically explained, “...Clashes erupted at rallies in Portland and Vancouver, Washington. A demonstration against hate yesterday turned violent when so called Antifa group clashed with police and other protesters.”

She added, “At least seven people were arrested there and a right-wing prayer group held a rally in Vancouver, Washington. At least two people were arrested in that location.” To repeat, no “left-wing” ID for Antifa, but a “right-wing" description for the other event.

It really shouldn’t come as a surprise that the media would side with people who actively practice fascism in one of its purest forms. At least some of these “brave” mask-wearing people were arrested for violently disrespecting law enforcement.
