What do you get when constantly divide people by race, religion, gender, sexual orientation and political affiliation? You get a National Unity Award, of course!

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) received just that Sunday morning at the Martin and Coretta Scott King Unity Breakfast in Selma, Ala.

According to the Selma Times Journal:

While the breakfast was an opportunity for reflection and unity, it was also a time for celebrating the achievements of those trying to advance the conversation with racial equity. Each year, the unity breakfast recognizes someone special who has gone the extra mile to make a different in the world for his or her race. Named the “National Unity Award,” the 2018 recipient was Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA).

Let me get this straight. In one sentence, the breakfast is supposed to be promoting "racial equity," but in the next sentence the award is to honor someone who betters the world for "his or her race?"

How is that not racist? If you're receiving an award for unifying people, it should be for unifying people of all races. That's true unity.

Anyway, here's a tweet of Waters attending the event, complete with yet another hilarious Waters quote:

WatersTweet

Waters certainly is different.

The Congresswoman's obsession with President Trump has blinded her to the extent of making her platform all about getting Trump impeached.

In the last year alone, Waters has gone anti-Trump at a funeral, called for negotiations with North Korea, said that she "inspires people" through her impeachment work and compared Trump to "Kim Jong-oom" and "Validimore Putin."
