Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is upset that the Chinese government has re-opened wet markets, where live animals are killed and sold in often unsanitary conditions.

Fox News reports, Graham sent a letter to the Chinese ambassador to the United States on Thursday urging him to pressure his government against reopening the country’s so-called wet markets.

Graham appeared on Fox News on Friday and said, "How many times do we have to go through this before we change our behavior? It’s just not in China. It’s in southeast Asia. It’s in Africa," Graham said.

"Some guy in China started all this, and it most likely came from a wet market," Graham continued, referring to COVID-19.

“Bats carry this stuff, and they literally eat bats. Stop eating bats!" Graham said.

Graham told Fox News that he along with Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) are sending a bi-partisan letter to the World Health Organization and the Chinese government demanding the closure of wet markets.
