Leave it to a progressive to politicize what is supposed to be a happy holiday.

United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) wrote a “Happy Mother’s Day” post on Facebook Sunday. However, just because the occassion is supposed to be a happy day for moms doesn’t mean that Warren should take a day off from pushing her agenda.

Please stop taking yourself so seriously, Sen. Warren. Get your mom some flowers, chocolates, a gift card or take her out to dinner.

But no, Warren wants to celebrate the day by talking about passing legislation. More rules and regulations. How progressive of her.

“Half of low-wage workers have little or no say over when they work,” she says.

I have worked low-wage jobs nearly my entire life. Most, if not all, places have a system where you set up your availability upon being hired. But companies are not as evil as Warren would have you believe when it comes to scheduling conflicts.

Warren has been very outspoken over the years on attacking small business and the corporate world. CNN reported that in 2015, Warren's "average net worth of $8.75 million, including her home, secures her a spot the Top 1% bracket in terms of wealth."

Just to give a taste of how Warren thinks, here is a flashback to her famous comments from 2011:
