Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) says, “We’ve got a crisis on the border, and we’ve had a crisis for a long, long, time.”
“For too long the federal government has failed to do its job,” Cruz said. “Congress has failed to do its job. We need to step up and solve the problem - secure the border. I commend the president for taking that seriously and stepping forward and leading.”
Cruz’s comments were made during a wide-ranging interview with Media Research Center President, Brent Bozell, on Monday.
