At an event organized by the Strafford County Republican Committee in New Hampshire on Sunday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) held nothing back when discussing the present administration’s policies, even with kids in the audience.
“Millions of Americans are realizing this isn’t working," Cruz said.
"The Obama economy is a disaster. Obamacare is a train wreck. And the Obama-Clinton foreign policy of leading from behind… The whole world’s on fire,” he declared.
“The world is on fire?!” three-year-old Julie Trant asked, pictured in a pink jacket seated front row on her mom’s lap.
“The world is on fire, yes,” Cruz responded, grinning at the little girl's utter sincerity.
“Your world is on fire,” he said.
At least he was being honest.
“But you know what? Your mommy’s here and everyone’s here to make sure that the world you grow up in is even better,” Cruz added.
