Wait. You mean to tell me that Communists, terrorists and genocidal maniacs like socialism? Ya don’t say?

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo sat down with Fox Business’ Trish Regan on Wednesday and the topic of Venezuela came up. Pompeo made a very interesting assertion concerning who has been attempting to help the socialist Maduro regime in the South American country.

Pompeo told Regan that Cuba, Iran and terrorist organization Hezbollah have been aiding Maduro in protecting his deadly, socialist regime.

“The Cubans invaded Venezuela,” Pompeo said. “The Cubans have been controlling the security apparatus, protecting Maduro and destroying the way of life for the Venezuelan people for an awfully long time.”

Pompeo also noted that Cuba and Russia are already in Venezuela.

“Russia’s there [Venezuela], today,” Pompeo said. “The Cubans are there, today. We are very hopeful that when this peaceful transition takes place, which is our ultimate objective, that the Venezuelan people will want to be sovereign and independent, not rely on Cubans and Russians for their security or their well-being.”

Regan then asked about “bad actors” possibly turning Venezuela into a “no-man’s land,” and Pompeo said that Hezbollah and the Iranians have been “impacting” not only Venezuela, but a larger portion of South America.

“People don’t recognize that Hezbollah has active cells – the Iranians are impacting the people of Venezuela and throughout South America,” the Secretary of State said. “We have an obligation to take down that risk for America.”

Cuba and Iran are the same “bad actors” that former president Barack Obama made deals with during his time in the Oval Office.
