Sean Penn Gets One Right: Claims Men Wearing Skirts Are ‘Cowardly’

If one of the most flaming anti-American libs says the lack of masculinity in society is a problem, you know we may have a huge civilization-ending predicament on our hands.

In a recent interview with iNews, Fast Times at Ridgemont High actor Sean Penn observed that men these days have become “highly feminized.”

Granted we aren’t keen on taking lessons on masculinity from the man who may have beat his then-girlfriend Madonna in a fit of jealous rage, but again, if Hollywood weirdos are noticing the decline of manhood, then there might be something to it.

Penn told the British website that “there has been an absence of male behavior,” and also claimed that he is “in the club that believes that men in American culture have become wildly feminized.”

Considering that more and more man are coming out as gay or “transitioning” to being women, Penn is just stating the obvious. To his point, various studies have also shown that testosterone levels have been declining in young men for a while now. (Thanks, pumpkin spice lattes!)

And on top of that, our woke society is constantly sounding the alarm against toxic male behaviors, which just seem to mean assertive and confident male behavior that might go against the grain of what our liberal, secular society wants.

That propaganda, combined with an increasingly sedentary lifestyle among men filled with TV, video games and fast food has got to be decimating masculinity across the board.

Penn made sure to make the distinction between true masculinity and the violence and brutishness that our culture likes to conflate with masculinity.  He stated, “I don’t think that being a brute or having insensitivity or disrespect for women is anything to do with masculinity, or ever did.” Thankfully it sounds like Penn has learned his own lessons over the years.

“But I don’t think that to be fair to women, we should become them,” he added. Well Penn should tell that to the transgender woman who just had a nice winning streak on Jeopardy! Though there was nothing fair to women about that one. That man is now being hailed as the best women’s Jeopardy! player ever.

You know who doesn’t get that honor anymore? An actual woman.

In another interview, this time with The Independent, Penn made the same point, saying that the women he knows are not put off by true masculinity. “I have these very strong women in my life who do not take masculinity as a sign of oppression toward them,” he stated.

Then he said something very politically incorrect and very funny that might get him into some trouble with the Twitter mob. He said, “There are a lot of, I think, cowardly genes that lead to people surrendering their jeans and putting on a skirt.”

Oh wow, and here I’d been led to believe that a man putting on a skirt couldn’t be anything other than stunning and brave. Kudos to Sean Penn for saying something we can all agree with.
