Denver-area graphic artist and website designer Lorie Smith and lawyers from Alliance Defending Freedom presented their argument before the U.S. Supreme Court in 303 Creative v. Elenis on Monday.

The case concerns a Colorado law that requires Smith to communicate messages inconsistent with her beliefs. Even though Colorado officials have admitted that she works with people from all walks of life, including those who identify as LGBT, Smith does not wish to create websites that celebrate gay marriage.

The state still says it can force her to speak messages about marriage that contradict her core beliefs.

Attorney Jake Warner of the Alliance Defending Freedom discusses the arguments and legal issues being presented before Supreme Court Justices with MRCTV.
