Schwarzenegger Wants to Sue Big Oil Companies For 'First Degree Murder'

Talk about an alarmist! Hollywood cultist Arnold Schwarzenegger thinks that oil companies should be highly restricted for the role dinosaur juice has supposedly had on the global environment.

Schwarzenegger sat down with Politico’s Isaac Dovere for an interview at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival on Sunday to talk a little politics, where the former “Governator of Cali-flower” put on his best climate change tin foil hat and said he would file a lawsuit against big oil companies for “first degree murder” for their role in destroying the environment.

“I don’t think there’s any difference: If you walk into a room and you know you’re going to kill someone, it’s first degree murder; I think it’s the same thing with the oil companies,” Schwarzenegger said.

Schwarzenegger compared the “atrocities” that big oil perpetrates on the environment to the increased persecution of cigarette smokers in the last few decades.

Here’s more of what Schwarzenegger said:

This is no different from the smoking issue. The tobacco industry knew for years and years and years and decades, that smoking would kill people, would harm people and create cancer, and were hiding that fact from the people and denied it. Then eventually they were taken to court and had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars because of that. The oil companies knew from 1959 on, they did their own study that there would be global warming happening because of fossil fuels, and on top of it that it would be risky for people’s lives, that it would kill.

This coming from an avid cigar smoker. I'll just leave this here:

Anywho...

Give politicians - even former politicians - an inch, and they’ll take all units of measurement possible. With something like this proposed lawsuit, those in government want every avenue afforded to them to be placed under their authoritative thumbs. They do know best for us, after all.

How far does the former “Junior” star want this policing to go?

“Every gas station on it, every car should have a warning label on it, every product that has fossil fuels should have a warning label on it,” Schwarzenegger said.

Why don’t we just put a warning label on everything so that everyone can live a completely sterile life in which people don’t have to take personal responsibility for any of their actions anymore?

Schwarzenegger used to be a ballsy action star, but in recent times he seems to have been neutered.
