Democratic presidential hopeful Mike Bloomberg caused more than a few quizzical looks during a press conference on his front porch Monday when he said he thought Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar, both of whom had dropped out of the presidential race in the past 24 hours, had “behaved themselves.”
“I talked to them, Pete earlier today and Amy just a little while ago, and I wish them all the best. I thought both of them behaved themselves is a nice way to phrase it, but they represented their country and their states very well,” he said.
“I felt sorry for them, but I’m in it to win it,” Bloomberg added.

With Buttigieg and Klobuchar officially out of the running for the 2020 Democratic nomination, Bloomberg remains in the race alongside former Vice President Joe Biden, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.
