Enemy, thy name is Climate Change, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders declared at tonight’s CNN Democratic presidential debate.
Sanders warned Americans there’s “an enemy out there” – and it’s going to not only cause natural disaster, but also wreak international conflict:
“We have an enemy out there, and that enemy is going to cause drought and floods and extreme weather disturbances. There is going to be international conflict.”
A new tax is the solution, Sanders said:
“I am proud, Wolf, that I have introduced the most comprehensive climate change legislation, including a tax on carbon – something I don’t believe Secretary Clinton supports.”
