During the Democratic primary debate in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, presidential candidate Bernie Sanders discussed his plans to "restore and revive" the U.S. economy.
He reassured the audience at Drake University and viewers at home that, while he doesn't know exactly what his tax rate would be if elected president, it “won’t be as high as 90 percent.”
“It won’t be as high as 90 percent,” said the Vermont senator.
“I’m not that much of a socialist compared to Eisenhower,” Sanders said jokingly.
How funny!
