San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is known for his no-nonsense attitude and no-frills approach to the game of basketball.

During intermission after the first quarter of the Spurs game against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night, Popovich demonstrated his straightforward demeanor in an interview with NBA on TNT sideline reporter David Aldridge.

When asked what he thought about his team’s performance through one quarter of play, Popovich responded, “We’re behind and they’re ahead.”

Then, when asked to further explain why his team was behind, Popovich simply said, “They scored more than we did, and we were pretty crappy on defense.”

If that wasn’t enough gold from the five-time NBA champion head coach, Aldridge then asked Popovich if he wanted to know the results of the New Hampshire Primary, which had just come in.

When told of Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump's victories, Popovich's response was nothing short of priceless.
