Sadie Robertson’s '5-Second Rule'

Sadie Robertson has returned to her YouTube to reach out to her fans.

The 19 year-old "Duck Dynasty" star recently shared advise her cousin gave her - to take a 5-second pause before making certain choices you may later come to regret.

"If a guy or your boyfriend, or if a girl, and she's your girlfriend, and they want to go farther than you want to go in your relationship," Robertson says,  "Just say no. Talk to them about it."

"It's going to be awkward. It’s an awkward conversation but it can save you from a lifetime of regret."

The five-second rule also applies to giving pause and taking action.

"Let Him [God] lead," she said.

"God will speak to you if you ask Him to. He'll give you eyes to see and ears to hear.”

“Because the Holy Spirit will lead you, and then even it is awkward, you will have this overwhelming sense of confidence to say ‘yes’, and you will go and do it."
