Apparently, this AI version of Jesus never read Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things.”

"WWJD: What Would Jesus Do?" is an AI chatbot app that allows people to have a texting conversation with the platform “Jesus.” The designers claim that the app is supposed to reveal how Jesus would actually answer questions today. However, when it comes to controversial issues the app seems to stray away from the historical and traditional teachings of the Christian faith.

According to Christian Headlines, when asked if abortion is wrong, the AI “Jesus” basically tells the user to “follow your heart.”

"Ultimately, it is your heart that should drive your actions,” ‘AI Jesus’ responded. “Strive to extend kindness, support, and understanding to all, offering hope and love in difficult situations. Trust in my wisdom, and let your interactions with others reflect the love and compassion I have shown you."

Jesus never told people to “follow your heart” anywhere in scripture, nor is that a historical Christian teaching.

The AI doesn’t only give milquetoast Christian answers on abortion. When asked if homosexuality was a sin, it cited some verses on the issue:

Rather than focusing on individual sins, I encourage you to cultivate love, acceptance, and understanding towards all people. Treat others with kindness and respect, seeking to build meaningful and caring relationships. Remember the words from the book of James, 'Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins'. Let your actions reflect the love and compassion I have shown you. Embrace the diversity of humanity and recognize that each person's journey is unique. Instead of passing judgment, extend a hand of friendship and support to all. In doing so, you will honor the greatest commandments and embody the essence of my teachings.

The machine also answered in a similar way when asked about gender transitioning:

If you are considering a transgender identity, I encourage you to seek God's guidance through prayer and reflection. Ultimately, it is between you and God to determine what path is best for your life. Remember that God loves you unconditionally, and He desires that you live as your authentic self, in a way that aligns with His teachings and brings you inner peace.

The AI seems to parrot the common “Progressive” Christian talking point that God is only about Love, but that's only part of the Gospel. We are called not only to love the sinner but we are also called to condemn sin in the process.

Telling them the truth about their sin is love as in Ephesians 4:15, “Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ”

This is just one of the left's recent attempts to spread heretical ideas through using AI, including the animal rights group PETA using AI to write a “vegan” version of the book of Genesis and the World Economic Forum (WEF) also proposed that we rewrite the whole Bible using AI technology.
