Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of the most senior and respected members of the Supreme Court, came out Tuesday against calls from certain political actors to pack the Supreme Court.

"Nine seems to be a good number. It's been that way for a long time," Justice Ginsburg said in an interview with NPR, adding, "I think it was a bad idea when President Franklin Roosevelt tried to pack the court."

This is in stark contrast to the statements of media darling, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who, as Paul Bois at the Daily Wire reports:

… openly stated that Democrats should pack the Supreme Court. "I think that we take back the House, we take back the Senate, we take back the presidency, and we pack the Supreme Court of the United States of America," she said.

Though RBG has a less than stellar relationship with the right, the veteran Justice seems to be on the same page with conservatives and originalists on this issue.
