Russian Ads That 'Swung the Election' Included Jesus Arm-Wrestling Satan

Russia-backed social media ads launched allegedly to spur Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton included an ad for a Bernie Sanders coloring book and a meme of Jesus arm-wrestling Satan.

Those are apparently the ads, just now being revealed, that supposedly swung the election in Trump's favor.

According to POLITICO, Russia purchased large amounts of partisan ads during last year’s election, some of which were quite anti-Trump, and clearly meant to sow discord among the American populace. Topics ranged from Black Lives Matter ads to warnings about illegal immigrant to badly illustrated calls for Texas to secede from United States. Most of the ads are so terrible, it’s hard to believe anyone could look at them without shooting their coffee through their nose, much less be politically swayed by them.

Then again.

Here's a sampling from the batch of Russian-funded ads released to the House intelligence panel Wednesday.

Yep. Those are the ads everyone was so worried about, all part of the great Big Bad Russian collusion that singlehandedly delivered victory to Donald Trump. We’re to believe that Hillary Clinton -- who was in the running to lead the entire country, mind you -- was stripped of her electoral victory and relegated to the political trash heap thanks to the overwhelming influence of an internet graphic of Jesus arm-wrestling Satan.
