The (drag) show must go on.
Twitter account Gays Against Groomers tweeted a now-viral video Tuesday morning of a star from RuPaul’s Drag Race gyrating with a sex toy and performing mock sex acts in front of children at an amusement park.

You would think that the footage would feature parents’ jaws dropping to the concrete while they cover their children’s eyes and at least run to the other side of the park, if not immediately leaving and demanding a refund.
But, no.

As the neon-clad man pulled his sex toy in time to the music, parents watched in profound adoration, cheering wildly and recording, while the children looked on in bewilderment. From the footage, you can tell that the ones who did clap were only doing so because they thought they were supposed to.
This is far from the first time that drag shows have blatantly targeted children, and we should definitely call out grooming and pedophilia as the media desperately tries to hide it. But while we do that, we ignore the co-conspirators right in front of us: the parents.
While many seem to have bought into the LGBTQ garbage, adults are much less impressionable than their kids. When they are deluded, they’re the ones responsible for it. But one could argue that the main reason these drag shows continue is that parents ignore the well-being of their children, dragging them to these events over and over again. After all, if no one showed up to “kid-friendly” drag events, would event spaces really risk going broke over this evil ideology?
Likely not. But it'll keep happening, as long as the grown-ups in the room are willing participants.
