Rules for Thee: John Kerry Caught Defying Airport Mask Mandate...Again!

Libby | July 8, 2021

Biden administration climate czar John Kerry was spotted without his mask in violation of the COVID-19 mask mandate at Boston Logan International Airport on Wednesday.

According to photographs obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, the former secretary of state was caught maskless at 11:41 am.

Months prior, President Joe Biden implemented TSA mask requirements for airports, which suggests a recommended fine for $250 first time offenders and a $1,500 fine for repeat offenders, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

A Logan Airport spokeswoman confirmed that the requirement is still in effect “any time someone is inside the airport or on an aircraft.”

Though she refused to comment on the specific situation with Kerry, she told the publication that the mandate “applies to all passengers, save for those specifically exempted in the security directive.”

This is not the first time Kerry has come under fire for sidestepping the mask mandates during air travel, however.

Back in March, he was also caught without his face covering on a flight — which he justified as being “momentary.”

“Let’s be clear: If I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary,” Kerry wrote, Fox News reported. “I wear my mask because it saves lives and stops the spread. It’s what the science tells us to do.”

With this repeat offense by the “climate czar” — who, it should be noted, is fine with frequenting exhaust-emitting planes — one should wonder whether or not if masks are “the science” or if Kerry simply doesn’t trust the science?
