During an interview with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Monday night, Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio criticized President Obama’s foreign policy—or lack thereof.

He argued that the President is “in complete denial” regarding Russia’s aggression in the Middle East and on the world stage.

“It’s so sad for the country to have a country with a president who’s in complete denial with what’s happening in the Middle East,” said Rubio.

“What’s happening is pretty straightforward," he argued. "Vladimir Putin is going into the Middle East and saying, ‘I know you know that America under Barack Obama is unreliable. You can’t count on them. You can count on us, and we’re going to show you how firm and resolute we are.’”

The Florida senator went on,

"He is directly challenging Barack Obama and, as a result, undermining America's influence in the Middle East and in the broader world.”

"The rest of the world is watching this too," he added.
