Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey said that she contemplated suicide after her loss to current champion Holly Holm.

Rousey opened up for her first televised interview since she was knocked out by Holm at UFC 193 back in November.

Rousey sat down with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and described what she felt like after the shocking loss:

I was in the medical room and I was sitting in the corner and I was like: ‘What am I anymore if I’m not this?’ I was literally sitting and thinking about killing myself. That exact second I’m like: ‘I’m nothing. What do I do anymore?’

Rousey recounted snapping out of it the moment that she saw her “man,” Mixed Martial Arts fighter Travis Browne.

“To be honest, I looked up and I saw my man Travis standing there and I looked up at him, and I was just like: ‘I need to have his babies. I need to stay alive.’”

Rousey is scheduled to return to the octagon this November against an unspecified opponent.
