Call me a pessimist, but I didn’t trust Alphabet Agencies before the highly controversial raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida on August 8th. But, it’s nice to see there are at least some Republicans in Congress who will show a little backbone every now and then.

On Tuesday, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) appeared on “Fox & Friends First” to talk about the raid and what level of confidence people might still have in the aforementioned Alphabet Agencies in the aftermath and continuance of the years of apparent targeting they’ve carried out against Trump.

“It should infuriate every single American, and it should make us all scared because this was done for two reasons,” Jackson said. “This was done to try to trash the former president and his reputation to make him look like someone who’s not going to be able to compete for office in the upcoming presidential election. And it was done to intimidate and scare the American people and let them know, ‘If you don’t think we can do this to you, look what we just did to your former president.’”

A moment later Jackson spoke about the level of trust in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ).

“No one trusts the FBI or the DOJ anymore,” Jackson further said. “I don’t trust them any more than I can throw that entire building.”

Amen. Because like I’ve always said, and maybe it’s a fault of mine, but I’ve said, “The only person I trust 100 percent is my mother.’ I don’t even trust myself to that degree, so why would I trust anything that comes from unelected government workers? Or elected ones, for that matter?
