Actor Robert De Niro is apparently such a tough guy that he can’t handle President Donald Trump basically paying him to eat.

The Daily Mail is reporting that De Niro told MailOnline in an interview that “he [Trump] would be barred from every Nobu restaurant if he tried to enter.” De Niro is one of three co-founders of the Nobu restaurant and hotel chain.

De Niro has been an unabashed, outspoken critic of Trump throughout his presidency. But, compared to his Nobu co-founder Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, De Niro is a petty, little man.

“It’s my dream for Trump to sit next to Bob,” Matsuhisa told MailOnline. “To make them sushi!”

While Trump has been president, De Niro has said anything negative he could about Trump and the U.S. He’s told a Middle East crowd that the U.S. is “suffering from a temporary case of insanity,” and has also recently said that “we’re at a point with of this where it’s beyond trying to see another person’s point of view.”

De Niro has called Trump the “Lowlife-in-Chief,” an “idiot” and a person without “any sense of humanity or compassion.”

De Niro has gone from a universally admired and accomplished actor to a crotchety old man whose self-righteousness negates any “tolerance” he and the rest of the radical Left think they’ve ever put forth.

Much like Jim Carrey, one has wonder when De Niro will put politics aside to focus on actually making a good movie again. I'm still waiting for "Dirty Grandpa" to be funny.
