NBC is considering a shift in their morning lineup due to Megyn Kelly’s underwhelming ratings, sources tell Page Six.

The network is reportedly looking to bump Kelly out of the 9 a.m. slot so they can move the Today show, hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, into her current spot.

According to Page Six, ever since Megyn Kelly debuted her show, which airs just one hour before Today, Gifford and Kotb have lost a significant chunk of their audience. NBC is apparently linking Today's loss in ratings to Kelly’s poorly-rated show that precedes it, which they hope to correct with their morning lineup shuffle.

At one point, Kelly, who signed a three-year $69 million contract in January 2017, was down 32 percent compared to the show that had previously held her time slot.

“It’s the smart move,” an alleged insider of Kelly's show was quoted by Page Six. “At the very least that limits the damage already done to Hoda and Kathie Lee — maybe with a strong lead-in from ‘Today’ at 9 a.m., they’ll even pick up some of the viewers they lost since Megyn went o the air.”

Kelly's NBC show may be temporary, but this video will live forever.
