Conservative media outlets have been growing in the Trump era, reaching new audiences and broadening their coverage areas, according to Axios.

Most times when a president is in office, news outlets from the other side of the political aisle expand and multiply but during President Trump’s time in office, right-leaning media has taken off.

As Axios reports:

An analysis of conservative websites by the Columbia Journalism Review using Comscore data found that there's been a rise in right-wing web 'tabloidism' since President Trump took office.

The Columbia Journalism Review noted that well-known conservative websites like National Review, Newsmax, and The Washington Times are getting about one million unique visitors per month. These sites are just three of 15 to 20 that regularly attract the same amount monthly.

FoxNews.com is the biggest winner of the conservative media sweepstakes as it takes in around 100 million unique visitors each month, which is about a third of the U.S. population, CJR reported.

It appears Trump’s approach to calling out Fake News media outlets like CNN and MSNBC have sent people on a search for finding news they can trust. And as the results show as of late, conservative media is surging.
