Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), who once called for crowds to harass members of the Trump administration, now claims President Trump’s verbal barbs are putting Democrats in danger.

“I mean, I can't go to the grocery store anymore by myself. I have to pay for security all the time. I can't move around the country without security,” Waters told MSNBC Wednesday.

“He's setting some of us up to be killed. I have death threats constantly. There are a number of people who have been convicted - but threatening to kill me. And when he does that, he's dog whistling to the white supremacists, the KKK and the dangerous people,” Waters said.

In June of 2018 Waters told an LA crowd, “Already you have members of your (President Trump’s) cabinet that have been booed out of restaurants. Who have protestors taking up at their house. Who say - ‘No peace, no sleep’.”

“So let’s stay the course. Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station. You get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore - anywhere!”
