'Disgraceful': Recovering Giuliani - What's Happening to American Business Is 'Not Based in Science'

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is on the mend after being diagnosed with the Chinese coronavirus, as announced on Sunday.

Giuliani is reportedly taking Remdesivir in conjunction with Dexamethasone, the same combination of drugs given to President Donald Trump when he had the virus in October, as reported by Fox News.

“I didn’t wanna really go to the hospital, and he said, ‘Don’t be stupid. We can get it over with in three days,’” Giuliani told WABC, referring to Trump’s White House doctor being the one who pushed him to go to the hospital.

Giuliani’s WABC comments were given during his own radio show from his hospital bed. The 76-year-old felt so good that he criticized people’s obsession with wearing masks all the time during the pandemic.

“I think you can overdo the masks. You can overdo almost anything,” Giuliani said. “Everything done in moderation makes much more sense. And what we’re doing to American business right now is disgraceful, and it’s not based on science.”

Precisely! It’s perfectly understandable to wear a mask when frequenting a business, if said business requires people to wear one in order to shop there. But when it gets to the point that people are wearing masks while in their cars and driving alone with the windows up, those folks might be overdoing it — just a little.

Giuliani’s also not wrong when it comes to how small businesses have been murdered in this country.

As of November 25, tracktherecovery.org reports that small businesses in the U.S. decreased 28.8 percent compared to January 2020.

That number should be considered a crime against Americans that might not ever be recovered.
